Apple TV

Hello,

We recently upgraded our internet services and our wifi info changed. When we did this our Apple TV disconnected from the Apple remote app on my phone.

I have the silver remote as well but cannot seem to get it to connect to update the network settings on the Apple TV so we cannot utilize the Apple TV right now as we cannot connect to the same network as our phones to use the app.

When pushing buttons on the silver remote the lights do flash but Apple TV will KTLA respond you remote.

Is there a way to pair remote to Apple TV so it will respond to the remote?

The physical remote is not a networked device, so that shouldn’t be affected by a Wi-Fi change alone.

2. Unlink your Apple Remote to your Apple TV. On your Apple Remote, hold down Menu and Left for six seconds. Then on your Apple TV, look for above an icon of a remote.

3. Link your Apple Remote to your Apple TV. On your Apple Remote, hold down Menu and Right for six seconds. Then on your Apple TV, look for above an icon of a remote.

Do both steps, to clear any previous link, before linking again.
