iPad passcode

My daughter put a passcode on her iPad and does not remember the passcode. How can I unlock the iPad and take the passcode off?

Read this Apple Support document about what to do "If you forgot the passcode for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, or your device is disabled". Click here --> http://support.apple.com/HT204306

You will have to erase the device and set it up again. You can restore from a computer or an iCloud backup.
