iPhone 7 plus - Airdrop doesn't recognise any nearby devices

Hi Team,

Looking to assist my Dad with his iPhone 7 plus, Airdrop doesn't recognise any nearby devices when you select a photo and attempt to share it. I can however send to his iPhone from my iPhone XS without any issues.

Have reset network, phone and tried many other ideas without success.

Please Help.

For a device to be recognized by Airdrop that device must have Airdrop enabled and with a compatible setting for who the owner wants to share with. Go to Settings/General/Airdrop and set it to Everyone, unless the owner has everyone they want to receive from in their contacts.

And all devices must have Bluetooth enabled and be on the same Wi-Fi network.
