Quick spin-zoom effect -- how?

Hi!

I'm trying to create a quick spin-zoom effect/transition for a photo at the end of a video. Over the last few seconds of the clip, the photo will start off as a pin-point and zoom in to full size while simultaneously spinning quickly. Ideally, I would like to control the number of spins and the speed. How can I accomplish this in FCPX, or with a plug-in?

Thanks!

Quick and dirty solution using only FCP X:

1) Put the image in your timeline

2) Move to the frame where you want the effect to end

3) Open the Inspector and click to set a keyframe for Transform.

4) Change the rotation to, for example, 720 (two full rotations), or 1080, or what makes sense to you (you can adjust later, but make sure to use a multiple of 360)

5) Move the playback to the first frame, and change rotation to 0 and scale to 0.

Playback and adjust to your liking.

To change the number of rotations move to the last key frame and adjust the number.

To adjust the speed of the effect select the clip in the timeline, open the video animation (control-V), click to expand the transform area and drag to change the timing of the keyframes.
