If you have paid extended AppleCare+, accidental/incidental damage is covered for your iPad screen.

Apple does not repair iPads.

Under paid AppleCare+, Apple will replace your iPad for a $49 U.S.D. replacement fee, in lieu of an actual repair.

Accidental damage is not covered by the warranty.
