When I type words like says it turns out like this sayÈ the quotation with shift and hyphen È è I am not pressing E I am pressing shift hyphen can anyone help this is strange

Yes it is....try going to system preferences, then Keyboard, and check "Input sources", eg, what country is it set to, spelling, and short cuts. you can also choose to show keyboard and emoji viewer in the menu bar. here's a recent article on typing accents.

anyways, you'll have to figure out what that does on your keyboard, or what it's set to do....I'm not there in person so can't really help you much, and teleportation hasn't been invented yet, and I don't have a magic wand or flying carpet, so until someone else posts an answer to your question here, this'll have to do for now

Thank's I went in and restored some defaults took off the flag and checked automatically switch to a documents input source so one of those things did it much happier
