Can't back up iPhone 8 Plus

We have a iPhone 8 Plus connected to our pc laptop. We’ve synced before. Now, for some reason, we’re getting a message saying, ”iTunes could not backup the iPhone because the backup session failed.” Any ideas?

  1. Make sure iTunes is updated.
  2. Disable anti-virus and try again.
  3. If still no luck, reinstall iTunes and try again.
