Why require detailed info on my credit card? I am told it is unsafe.

It is a phishing attempt. Do not respond. Do not divulge any personal or financial information. You can use the address below to forward the suspect email message, as an attachment to Apple.

Um, for starters, no one here is obliged to answer any question quickly, or at all. You're talking to other users here, not Apple.

Apple will never, ever ask for such information. You responded to a scam email or message. I sure hope you didn't enter and submit any of the data they were trying to get.
