How can I change line thickness when I add a sketch to Notes?

I wasn’t happy with sketching in notes because I couldn’t selectively erase parts of my drawings. The eraser simply acted as an undo button, wiping out all or nothing. Then I discovered that you could click “add a sketch” to a note where the eraser tool acts as a real life eraser would. Hooray! I could finally sketch in Notes properly! ... Only, now I cannot figure out how to change line thickness (and gradation) while in a sketch!!! Tapping twice on the pen/pencil/marker icons while doodling in a note gives you the option to change both, but not in sketch?!?

Am I missing something? If it’s possible, can someone please tell me how?

If it’s not, Apple please fix this ASAP!

Procreate is NOT the only sketching/drawing/painting app available for iPad.

There are many other sketching/drawing/painting apps that are cheaper than Procreate and quite capable and less expensive and less complex that may meet your needs.

For a really good sketching app that is free, look at Tayausui Sketches School.

OR

Pay version Tayasui Sketches Pro or Tayasui Memopad.

Free version of Adobe Photoshop Sketch

Here are some others that are very good, but pay apps that are less expensive and have less of a learning curve and complexity.

Art Set ( the $1.99 version )

ColorBox Pro, ColorBox Pro Extended,

ColorBox Sketches ( a free sketch app )

Colored Pencil

Inkist
