my phone shop here in canada fixes it for 25-40$ something weird here - its always when i go to upgrade the OS
happens to my kids devices. iPods and my old iPhones that they start using. not super old devices either - 2 - 3 years

I tried all the steps in this article and still my iPhone has an error 4005
Nothing else I can offer.
Take it to Apple and ask them for help.
