Iphone X and Bluetooth Bose speaker

I recently upgraded to an Iphone X (from an Iphone 7) and i have noticed that the quality of my connection of my Internet radio has seriously degenerated since the upgrade.

  1. The connection continuously buffers, especially when using my Bose speaker via bluetooth
  2. it seems that the speed is too quick i.e everyone's voices are 'high pitched ' as if i am speeding up the connection..

I never had any issues with my connection using the Iphone 7 but since i changed last week, this has been happening. if i play without the speakers, there don't seem to be buffering issues...

Is this a known issue? and how do i resolve?

I would try a Network Settings Reset (Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings), keepin' in mind that this procedure also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before, but no other data is affected.

When done, restart your device and test it.

If you get no improvements, if your BT connection doesn't work with any of your accessories, then yes, it could be a BT glitch. Make an appointment and have your iPhone inspected at an Apple Store or Authorized SErvice Provider: Apple – Location Selector

cxprien,

the OP, in one of his previous posts, stated that s/he's having problems also using her/his BT headphones.

I agree with you, when you say that you would investigate if anything should be updated on Bose's side (in fact, if you take a better look, that was what I suggested in my 1st reply here). But, since there is an issue with the BT headphones too...
