is the apple limited warranty applecare

I recently cracked my phone in gym class not a bad crack but a small crack and I’m still under Apple’s limited Warranty through September now is the limited Warranty like AppleCare?

The warranty does not cover accidental damage, so you will have to pay for repairs. However, paying for repairs from Apple or an Authorized service provider will reinstate the remainder of your original warranty, or for 90 days (whichever is longer).
