Mirroring iPad and iPhone and iMac together

Want to Mirror my iPhone and iPad and iMac together - do not own Apple TV- which is what is showing up on the Control Center only - is it possible to Mirror them or do I need a Mirroring App for this? Purchased the App "Camera Lucida". and want to use them together for enlarging Drawing/Art - Thanks for any help- also if I need another App for Mirroring any suggestions for a good one would also be appreciated.

Okay - your end goal does indeed make sense.

I just tried out this app to see if it would do what you need and I'm thinking it might.

Have a read through this page and give it a shot.

I've purchased an App from the Apple App Store - "Camera Lucida" - in one of the tutorials on You Tube- about how to use this Artist App Tool- it shows how to enlarge the view onto your paper by placing the iPad or iPhone higher up from the work surface - in order to trace my pencil sketch photo onto my watercolor paper or canvas - the higher the iPad or iPhone the larger the view sketch to trace- when its mirrored to a laptop the laptop can then be set in front of the paper -to see without the awkward distance between the paper where I'm drawing and my iPad or iPhone for seeing the original sketch - being so high up from my drawing surface - so- since I have a iMac Desktop & iPad & iPhone was wanting to be able to Mirror my iPad and iPhone to each other- which seemed a logical idea to me since the mirroring can be to an Apple TV (which I do not have) however, the Control Center only offers Mirroring to Apple TV - I have found out I may have to purchase an additional App that will allow me mirroring to my iMac - still not sure if the iPhone and iPad will be able to mirror to each other yet - I'll find out as I research more tomorrow. This was quite a lengthy reply and hope I've communicated in an understandable way. Hahahahahaha

I want to mirror the iPad and iPhone for the Art work I'm using - my iMac takes up too much table space so I'm trying to mirror the Pad and Phone. However, may have to compromise and add table space for the iPad and use the iMac - not sure yet - Thanks for the reply and offer of help.

Thank you so much Lyssa!!!

Will read everything over the next few days. I'm hoping this is exactly what I'm going to need- it seems it will be - Love all my Apple i's and being able to enjoy them in unusual ways - which I guess this is.

Thank you again for your reply - and research for me and my needing help.

The Secure/Not Secure message is only REALLY important if you're providing identifying info about yourself.

The site MichelPM linked to is the software I've used on Macs and PCs to make them Airplay "receivers." It works well and is a piece of cake to set up. If you want to use your iMac as a display at any point, I definitely recommend it.

Post back if you have more questions and/or with your success!

Hi Lyssa,

Thank you so much for all your help and info.

I'm an Artist and love all the Tech available for me to use - not always sure what I'm doing - as you explained about the site Secure/Not Secure - but I try. Have no issue reaching out for help from those that know more - totally appreciate it.

I'll read, learn, and install over this week-end and coming week. Will post back about my success -
